We feel that the establishment of understanding and support between the home and school is vital for every child.  We believe in forming a partnership between home and school, with parents and staff working together for the benefit of the children.

Parents are welcome to come into the school, at the end of the school day, to discuss children’s progress so that small but important pieces of information can be exchanged with the class teacher.  However, if you have a particularly important matter to discuss it is better to arrange an appointment so that we can have all the relevant information available.  Parent/teacher meetings are held three times a year.  A forecast of work is sent home every term and a written report on your child’s progress is sent home twice each year.

Parents are encouraged to visit the school to help with various tasks, either regularly or as needed for specific events.  We appreciate that you may not be able to commit yourself in this way, but we are grateful for any help you can give.
